BMW specifies a torque figure for the twelve sided bolts that hold the drive shaft universal joint onto the output flange of the transmission, but a conventional torque wrench won't fit in the confined space so I've made an adapter.
This is a tough, heat-treated wrench that can also be used to aid in the removal of the bolts.
Note: Bikes from 1970 came stock with the 12 sided bolts, /2 used an Allen type bolt but those can be replaced with the easier-to-tighten 12 sided ones.
We also carry the
BOLTS and the driveshaft
BOOT.
